This is so pure - hopefully tw@s like Belle acknowledge you for this (once uve give her money of course)!

VoicesByCorey responds:

Fun fact: @Fro actually turned down Belle because he, “Doesn’t date girls named after Disney princesses.” Fro plays hard to get, that’s for sure.

I liked it - didnt sound like synthwave though. More like Lofi lobby/chill.

I can envision this being used in like a youtube video, and have heard similar in 'travellers blogs' for example. At only 2mins I didnt feel like the melody progressed a lot though - the wobbles were cool and did help break it up a little.

Well done :D

I appreciate the sort of retro video game sound, and for your first song - it wasn't terrible. The overall melody felt a little all over the place, like you were just smashing something quickly out.

Work on the structure more - if you were going for synthwave and not video game, pop on youtube and look at some tutorials/ideas. If it was video game (like Glitch), try and imagine the scene/level etc you are going for - hum it and try and play it out as you do....but make sure it fits with a beat. Ive never used BeepBox but as its an online thing, I can only imagine its a bit limited. It might take some work, but get your hand on a DAW like FL Studio (there is a demo version) and have play around with it.

This is your first song on here so please don't be disheartened by any potentially low scores or criticism, you will definitely get better over time if you stick to it! Everyone is friendly enough to offer advice and feedback, take advantage of it!

Geometzoo49 responds:

Thanks for the feedback! It was mostly just an experiment, though, so you review's ok! 😉
I looked at a picture of FL Studio, and it looks quite hard.
BTW BeepBox isn't very limited...

Very bubbly and uplifting!

I feel like the kick drum could have been a bit punchier (that's more of a preference over any criticism though). When hit 1.07 there were some 'kicks' that were very low but sounded more like 'clipping'...I thought it was my headphones.

Great Job overall!

Hey, for a first track - this is pretty great! It definitely gives me a sci fi Synth wavey vibe!

Mastering side, things get a bit clunky when it hits 37seconds in - just need to do some EQing to give those lows and highs space...every track felt like they needed more breathing space. Practice more with stereo separation/panning, which can also help (maybe those arps could be made a little widerm with the lows taken down a bit?).

Again, great short song though - superior to my first track when I started out years ago.

Sprocket-Creations responds:

Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it! :)

Well done! Although this is far too Anime and cute for me, I can certainly appreciate the effort and skill gone into this :)

Fun song - amazing how picturing a season can get the creative juices flowing lol

I liked it - the Glitching was done well . Felt heavy and the vocals were decent - the snare could have been a little sharper on the high end. Definitely more Dubstep (which im not normally a fan of) than Synthwave.

Overall: Very good mate!

Wasn't really a fan of the first 10 seconds but I got into it - especially when it hit 29 second mark. The melody was good, but I felt a little bit more could have been added to make the 2nd Chorus really 'pop' and escalate (bring down the low end a little to make the synths jump).

Overall - its a good song though, awesome job!!

I like it when songs/Melodies just flow from the heart. I had a similar thing years ago from a track I made called 'Shes Mine', I just thought about my Wife.

Awesome job! Can feel the love in this!

Im an average 'bedroom producer' and just have fun with it. I do this in my spare time outside of work and have no aspirations to make it big. If you like any of my tracks - thank you :)
